Of Mother and Mary

The tragedy of our time,

Are the lies that we've been told.

The each and every untrue tale,

So written,sworn, & then re-sold.

The victims we've made of heroes,

Locked in cages& behind bars.

Cast aside somehow as lepers,

As the liars become the stars.

The mental steel of shackles,

Binding mouths,hands and feet,

The rhythmic clank of chains.

Echo the sound of their defeat.

Martyrs born in fights long lost

Tossed into a pit of a human well.

How long must we deny the truth,

This hell into which we fell ?.

When do we stand to defend the lies,

& these untruths they've so decreed?

To stand and fight for the healing,

Born within the divine seed?

This gift from mother nature,

That she cared enough to give.

Is for this simple and pure reason,

Just 'So Others May Live'

Caught in the arms
of a bitter betrayal.
Lost in the fog,
is my salvation's portrayal.
Images and words,
lose all their meaning.
Ashes, of Diamonds;
nothing left gleaming.
I sip of the wine,
of cruelty's chalice;
falling drunk on my knees
in destiny's cold palace.
Emperor of nothing,
in a crown of disdain.
this is my kingdom,
this dungeon of my pain.
